Hey y’all!

I’m the creator of Our Starry Night! This event has been a dream of mine since I was a sophomore in high school, and it came to life my senior year (graduated from Athens High in 2022)! I am so thankful that God blessed this wish and allowed my vision to come to life!

I have always had a dear place in my heart for kids with special needs. In high school, I realized that they usually did not attend the school dances and functions. They also did not have many events just for them. The students I met in the Athens special needs program are some of the sweetest people! However, they were often overlooked and isolated by other students in the school. I created Our Starry Night specifically for these students in hopes they will have a night filled with fun where they can simply celebrate who they are with absolutely no judgement!

Our Starry Night would not be possible without the help of my wonderful family and friends. They have supported me and this event since day one! I could not be more thankful for the circle of people I have in my life!
